Welcome to our site. Our farm is located at 11 Oosterenderweg. This is the first farm on your left when you have passed De Waal on the way to Oosterend. This is where we started, about thirty years ago, with our family business. Our farm covers 89 acres. Our thirty cows produce about 320,000 kilograms of milk. We also keep 35 head of young cattle, the progeny of several often used studs. Of these, we export 10 to 15 heifers in calf every year to various European countries.

We also keep about 200 breeding sheep on our farm. In recent years we have frequently participated in shows and we have won champion's titles on many occasions, both with rams we own and with breeding material from our farm.

This year we used two sons of ram 4380-2923 for tupping.

Our greatest challenge in the next few years will be breeding a larger Texel with greater fertility and milk production and a better growth rate as well.

Some examples of rams that were used this year:

5649-0552 A triplet, registered with 86 points. This ram lamb recently won prizes at the winter show in January 2001. He weighed 66 kg then. He has a growth index of 119 and a litter size index of 114. His father is 5644-0300, with 87 points, a litter size index of 117 and a growth index of 124.

4030-2789 A triplet, registered with 87 points and ARR-ARR.
Father 4030-2394 has 90 points for development.
Mother 4030-1608, 14 lambs in six litters.

We try to use scrapie resistant rams whenever possible. Last year, over half our sheep were tupped by rams with ARR-ARR.
